Last week Mike went back to work. Whew. Most importantly, this means that he felt confident that he was able to commit to a work schedule and then feel well enough to follow through. What a relief!! He'll ease back in to a full schedule, as his work can be taxing and he really is still recovering from the transplant and the Parvo, but he enjoyed his first day back and received a warm welcome. Most of you know that Mike works for Gentle Giant Moving Company, as does Jon (who thankfully had a smooth recovery and has been back to work for months), and I want to thank everyone there for having been truly supportive throughout the last year. We would have been in a much tougher spot without the GG crew!
