So, we've heard the question enough times that we decided it was time to address it! We obviously can't answer it, but here are some thoughts:
Find out your blood type and your children's blood type and, viola! You may not even be a match for your children. Or you may be and you can either hold onto your kidney or hope that IF the time comes someone will do for you what you did for someone else. Of course, the best scenario is that your children never need a kidney :)
But, it's a very good question, and you can get more information that might help you decide whether or not to donate to someone other than a family member.
